The New M.E. Generation

Emma Marques is the pen name chosen by the author who’s initials to her real name are M.E.

The author is a Hispanic woman born and raised in the Caribbean. She meets her ex-spouse in her homeland where she eventually marries him. She arrived to ‘the city’ in 1995 and the divorce occurs in 2008.

Because the author’s initials stand for ‘me,’ it embodies a new time in her life as newly single person. The original ‘me generation’ referred to the children growing up in the 80’s.

The stories presented are a combination of actual events and fiction. All characters are real and their names have been changed to respect their privacy.

This is the author’s first writing effort in this medium.

I think I like this “Emma” very much. 😉
